Free versus paid licenses

During the initial MVP trail period, the Silverfish IDP will only offer the free license tier. This tier is available to all users indefinitely. It restricts the Silverfish IDP service to your public repos only.

In future, paid licenses will be offered for those that want to bring the power of an IDP to their private repos, too.

Free usage

The free offering is intended for anyone to use if they only need to scan public GitHub repos.

It is a good fit for:

• evaluation,
• open-source oriented workflows,
• and early adoption.

Paid usage

Paid plans will be offered later in the year and will provide the ability to have private repos scanned.
