Mapping an organization to a collection of repos

The Silverfish IDP treats an organization as the owner of a repository collection.

What mapping means

Mapping is the process of connecting the organization shown in the Dashboard to the repositories in the matching GitHub user account.

What you should expect

Once the right app installation is in place, the Silverfish IDP should be able to:

• enumerate the repositories available to that organization,
• create or update the repository list,
• and show them on the organization page in the Dashboard for review.

Common problems

If expected repositories are missing, check:

• the GitHub app installation,
• whether the installation includes all required repositories,
• whether a different organization or account was connected by mistake,
• and whether webhook-driven updates or the hourly polling of repos have completed.
